If we weren’t already inured with Christian mythology within our society…more people would see it for what it actually is
= a primitive blood worshipping, sacrificial-death cult, born out of ignorant ,superstitious minds that clearly embraced sadomasochism and slavery while also projecting self loathing.
Is it really any wonder then, that religious fundamentalists of today are scientifically illiterate (and in many cases anti-science) , constantly warn of hell and literally cannot wait for ‘end times’ ..only total destruction of this world will do for them since their ideas about this world and life on our planet are detached from reality.
This imaginary god and the religions created in its name merely resembles the ultimate bully / abusive partner, (exactly as above), …promoting fear and self loathing in order to sell its absurd magical cure, while extorting conformity from the naïve with promises of reward and or threats of punishment in ‘magic land’ after death, ironically claiming it all in the name of ‘love’.

10 Facts We Know About Religious Claims / God Belief.
1/ Humans have invented many gods and myths throughout history ,these gods and the religions created around them have evolved over time (mostly during a time of high superstition ,high ignorance ,but low critical thinking and scientific understanding).
2/ While there are currently 100’s of conflicting religions in the world, there is zero good /testable /scientific evidence to support any god claims or the supernatural.
3/ Religious claims have merely become unfalsifiable beliefs for their followers.
4/ Childhood indoctrination explains why so many people grow up believing in gods (normally the same gods as their parents and / or the society they live in).
5/ Humans can find comfort in belief of non-existent things.
6/ Human imagination can cause delusional thinking…(as a species, we are susceptible to superstition and irrational belief).
7/ In every rigorous test ,prayer fails- (it works at about the same rate as chance).
8/ God belief comes from emotion,…not reason and evidence.
9/ God belief adds nothing to scientific questions or our current understanding of reality.
10/’Faith’ is absolutely necessary and highly encouraged in every single religion, (ironically proving that ‘faith’ cannot be a valid pathway to finding the truth).
Regarding the Torah, Bible and Quran ,.. assumed by believers to be the word of their god, yet all of these books got nearly everything wrong about the natural world , the cosmos, morality and history, while also weaving mythical/magical absurdities (mostly borrowed from earlier religions) into it’s core narrative (re-visit No 1).
In summary: Every religion and religious assertion lacks credibility , esp when the claims are weighed in against the actual evidence provided .
Further ,it should be pointed out that most scientific discoveries over time have literally given us a completely different picture of reality than any religion could ever have known or even imagined….thus the ‘ truth claims ‘ made by Christianity, Islam and Judaism etc are not truths at all, but myth and delusion..
